SB 187 A Necessary to Prevent Evil

Senator Tim Schaffer (R-Lancaster) has proposed a bill which will close a loophole in Ohio law which allowed a nine-year-old boy to deliver a sexually suggestive performance in a Lancaster bar in December 2018. Senate Bill 187 would prohibit minors from any sexually suggestive performances in Ohio bars or carry the required penalty of that establishment losing their liquor license. The bill is currently in the senate’s General Government and Agency Review Committee.
